Hi all! Is anyone planning anything special for viewing the lunar eclipse on the 20th?

I believe the next total Lunar Eclipse won’t be for another two and a half years! This one begins at approximately 9:15 p.m. on the 20th and ends at approximately 1:15 a.m. on the 21st….

Is anyone interested and meeting on top of the hill in Riverdale Iowa, just outside of Bettendorf, and doing their astronomy thing for the event?

Please let me know your thoughts… that you would like to attend, and what type of astronomy would do that night… if I can drum up a handful of club members, I will get it set up with the mayor. Let me know ASAP!

    Clear Skies!

If it happens to be clear and not completely freezing outside, I’m gonna time lapse it from home. Every time I’ve tried to do that I’ve screwed something up though. Who knows, maybe this is the one!
