2019-06-29 Jens Wendt Observatory Open

Hi!

It’s been a while in coming, but so far it looks like we’ll have a few clear spots in the sky to let the Quad Cities Astronomical Society hold our public night at the Jens Wendt Observatory at Sherman Park, just outside of Dixon, Iowa on Saturday night!

A very special thank you to Cecil, John, Robert, and Rusty for being your hosts for this event!

If you can help support Cecil John and Robert, please do so by showing up with your gear! It may be a great night to get some work done for yourself after the guests leave….

Sunset is at approximately 8:40 PM, so viewing some cool things, weather and clouds permitting, should be able to happen as early as 9:30 PM.

For those of you that haven’t been to the Jens Wendt Observatory, I am thinking that this link may help…

Check back here before going out on Saturday evening in case there is a cancellation!

Clear Skies!
Jeff
